Ten Years

The Dude and I celebrated our ten year anniversary yesterday. I don't feel like it has been ten years. The years have gone by quickly, but ever so slowly at the same time. I am beyond blessed and grateful to have this wonderful man in my life. I catch myself watching him when he doesn't know I am and thinking to myself how lucky am I to have him as my husband forever!

"Now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story no one on earth has ever read. Which goes on forever: in which every chapter is better than the one before."
C.S. Lewis

"Love is meant to be an adventure."
Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley

"In vain I have struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you."
Jane Austen

For our ten years of bliss we left behind cold Idaho for a weekend in sunny San Diego!

We met up with Dave's parents for the weekend and went across the border to the Tijuana Mexico Temple.

It was beautiful!!

Trying to get back to the states was a mess!! I secretly wanted to roll down my window for a tamale but we were all afraid to risk it.

We checked out the LDS visitor center of the Mormon Battalion, very neat place!

The Dude wants to be a drover when he grows up.

We could not pass up the chance to see the San Diego Temple at night, breath taking!!

Playing a game of bean bag toss while we waited for a table at Snooze. Get the Bella Bella Benny, so delicious!!

Sun bathing seals, they weren't afraid of the crowds of people gathered around them.

Take me back!!!
How many seals can you spot in this picture??

Both of these pictures were failed attempts due the gusts of wind blowing my hair every which way possible. Totally worth it.
